From a young age growing up in a small Ohio town, my love for animals was clear. I spent my childhood outdoors, befriending local cats and helping injured animals that found their way into my yard. That early passion has grown into a lifelong commitment to making a difference in the lives of animals.

 

Today, I serve as the director of a local nonprofit cat rescue, where we care for community cats—many of whom have special needs. Through this work, I’ve gained hands-on experience with a wide range of medical situations, including administering subcutaneous fluids, injections, and oral medications.

 

I’ve also volunteered at a local dog shelter, where I developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, enrichment, and training techniques. I’m familiar with different types of harnesses and leads, and I know how to gently redirect and support dogs in challenging situations. I specialize in working with animals that need extra time, patience, and care to build trust.
